主要研究方向：计算机体系结构与系统软件（FPGA、软硬件协同、操作系统、虚拟化等），智能计算（大数据、云端边协同计算、人工智能、异构算力融合，大模型等），网络空间安全（隐私计算、多方安全、区块链等），智能教育（教育技术、教育数字化、AI for Education等）。承担国家级科技项目20多项、横向重大项目几十项。在HPCA（IEEE International Symposium on High-Performance Computer Architecture）、ASPLOS（International Conference on Architectural Support for Programming Languages and Operating Systems）、TC（IEEE Transactions on Computers）、TPDS（Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems）、SIGCOMM(Special Interest Group on Data Communication)、INFOCOM（IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications）、TMC（IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing）、DAC（ACM/IEEE Design Automation Conference）DATE（Design, Automation & Test in Europe Conference）、ICS（International Conference on Supercomputing）、TDSC（Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing）、TIFS（Transactions on Information Forensics&Security）、S&P（IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy）、CCS（ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security）、NDSS（Network and Distributed System Security）、CVPR（IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition）、TVCG（IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics）、AAAI（Conference on Artificial Intelligence）、IJCAI（International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence）、ICLR（International Conference on Learning Representations）、EMNLP（Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing）、TKDE（IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering）、WWW（The International Conference of World Wide Web）等国际高水平学术期刊或会议发表论文100多篇，获得国家发明专利授权30多项。研制的支持数字化产品的嵌入式系统软件平台获2007年浙江省科技进步一等奖，研制的工控系统全生命周期内生安全主动防御大平台获2021年浙江省科技进步一等奖，研制的云网端新型融合计算架构及应用获2023年浙江省科技进步一等奖，研制的数据要素密态计算关键技术及应用获2025年浙江省科技进步一等奖。
